Chubby House embodies our interior design philosophy of blending warmth with whimsy to create spaces that are a delight to live in. So much so that we wanted to share more of this fabulous home renovation.

Affectionately named after a desire to remove harsh angles and introduce soft, inviting curves into this 3-storey home, we couldn’t be happier with the result that injects joy, vitality and connection throughout the home.

From whimsical wallpapers to carefully crafted joinery, deep day-beds and barely-there balustrading, this home on the Northern Beaches of Sydney is as much a retreat as it is the perfect foil for both casual and formal entertaining.

Working with a talented team of builders, trades and craftsmen (including the homeowners who built their front door from scratch!), the process of designing, renovating and decorating this home has been a truly collaborative journey resulting in a home that is a spirited reflection of the family’s personality and lifestyle.
