Welcome to Rhythm & Blues, a Northern Beaches post-war home we transformed into a haven of modern classicism for a young, active family. Inspired by the American Classicism design style, we enlarged the kitchen and seamlessly connected indoors with outdoors, achieving a balance of sophistication and familial warmth.
Overcoming design challenges, we reconfigured the entry, adding a playful touch with wainscoting wall moulding and functional joinery for storage. The carefully curated colour palette of tranquil blues and whimsical greens brought calmness to the entire home, with durable, family-friendly materials chosen for practicality.
Our signature style infused a playful mix of patterns and textures in the master bedroom and kitchen. The result is a harmonious home that invites joy into daily life, offering spaces for quiet conversations, lively play, and indoor/outdoor entertaining.
Rhythm & Blues stands as a testament to the timeless dance between classicism and playfulness – where every step is a beat, and every space sings a delightful tune.
